Officer Mathis was dispatched to St. Judes Drive in reference to a citizen assist. Upon arrival to the incident, Officer Mathis met with a woman who explained that she is on the board for her HOA as the secretary. The woman also advised that she has had problems with construction traffic pulling into her complex parking lot. The woman further advised that these are rather large commercial trucks with equipment and she is worried about the gravel lot being damaged. According to the woman, the parking lot is not designed for such large heavy commercial vehicles and ruts are beginning to form from them to turn around. The woman further advised that she will speak with the other board members about blocking their driveway from construction vehicle use. The woman and Officer Mathis discussed several different alternatives to the ongoing situation and nuisance vehicles turning around. During the incident, Officer Mathis didn’t observe any vehicles pull into the private parking lot or any apparent damage. Officer Mathis made contact with the building company whose contact information had been located on the job box. The man answered the phone and advised he is the owner of the company. Officer Mathis explained the situation to the man that this was the first of him hearing of any problem or concern from the jobsite. Officer Mathis then provided the woman with the builder’s contact information. Both parties were adamant they could reach a solution.
