forward to our 2026-2027 season which begins in November.

We had many outstanding programs this season with great attendance. The Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe performing Motown, brought in just under 300 attendees as did the Billy Joel presentation. Everything from Shakespeare to iPhones, art and current events, to nature walks, film festivals and Happy Hour jazz nights, and 100 other diverse courses, lectures, special events and concerts generated over 3,200 registrations to date.

There are still two lectures left in our annual Lecture Series. On Tuesday March 17, from 3-4:30 pm, Dr. Michael Gibson, lecturer on Chinese history and U.S. Foreign Policy, will present a talk entitled, U.S. CHINA RELATIONS: President Trump, Tariffs, and Asian Security. He will also cover the most recent events in the entire region of East Asia and the international environment. The Q & A that follows promises to provide stimulating feedback.

ROBOTS FOR INDUSTRY AND MANUFACTURING: Automation of Traditional Manual Processes will be offered on Tuesday, March 24 from 3-4:30 pm. Sam Aldrich, program director at State College of Florida, who also teaches courses on manufacturing engineering, automation and robotics, will provide a comprehensive understanding of how automation combined with robotics is reshaping the future of manufacturing.
