107.9 WSRZ Monster Mash

Costumes get top billing at the 107.9 WSRZ Monster Mash, the classic-hits station's annual Halloween party, held at the Sarasota Sahib Shrine and hosted by morning-show pair David and Meredith. A costume contest pays out $1,500 in cash prizes, and the evening adds dancing, spirits and food samples. Earlier editions have landed elsewhere, including the Venice Community Center, and the 2024 party was billed as a benefit for hurricane relief. This year's presenting sponsor is Classic Creations in Diamonds & Gold.
