2027 Sarasota College Softball Classic

Powerhouse Division I athletic programs descend on 17th Street Regional Park for the inaugural Sarasota College Softball Classic. Organized by Peak Events, the early-season tournament brings together top-ranked collegiate squads—including Alabama, Baylor, Florida State, and Ohio State—for a weekend of high-stakes, non-conference matchups. The round-robin structure allows coaches to test their pitching rotations and evaluate freshman talent against elite national competition before conference play begins. The dirt diamonds host a relentless schedule of fast-pitch action, giving fans a close-up look at the speed, slap-hitting mechanics, and defensive precision that define the highest levels of the sport.
