A Christmas Carol

The Venice Theatre mounts the twenty-fifth anniversary production of its original musical adaptation of Charles Dickens's Victorian ghost story, staged in the Raymond Center. Longtime company veteran Brad Wages returns to star as the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge, leading an intergenerational cast of returning performers and new faces. The company's proprietary version weaves traditional storytelling with an original score, following the familiar trajectory of Scrooge's nocturnal redemption through the visits of three spirits. The production remains a cornerstone of the theater's seasonal programming, combining elaborate period costuming with the community-driven ensemble work that defines the organization.
