AA / Al-Anon meetings

The Longboat Island Chapel opens its community rooms for regular Alcoholics Anonymous and Al-Anon meetings, providing a confidential, supportive environment for individuals and families affected by alcoholism. The volunteer-led sessions follow the traditional twelve-step recovery program, centering on shared experiences and peer support rather than professional counseling. Hosted within the quiet confines of the church campus on Gulf of Mexico Drive, the meetings offer a consistent, local anchor for those seeking lasting sobriety and structured community connection on the Key. The gatherings ensure that barrier island residents have direct access to established recovery resources without needing to travel to the mainland.
