American Rebels

Florida Studio Theatre examines the musical legacy of American dissent in this original cabaret revue. Created by Rebecca and Richard Hopkins with musical arrangements by Jim Prosser, the production highlights artists who challenged the status quo. The setlist relies on culturally defining tracks from Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, and Marvin Gaye, performed by a small ensemble at the Goldstein Cabaret. The arrangements strip away the stadium rock production to focus on the lyrical arguments at the center of the songs.
