AP Bell Fish / Star Fish Co. Tour and Lunch

A walk through the working fish house at A.P. Bell Fish Company in Cortez, where boats unload grouper, mullet and snapper bound for restaurants and markets across Florida and beyond, leads to lunch at Star Fish Company next door. A.P. Bell opens its operation to public tours. Karen Bell owns both businesses, and the restaurant serves much of the local commercial catch at dockside picnic tables over Sarasota Bay, so the outing follows the fish from dock to plate in one of Florida's oldest working fishing villages.
