Converging Point presented by Tania Vergara Dance-Theater at SPAACES Gallery

Tania Vergara Dance-Theater premieres a new sculptural pas de deux titled Converging Point at SPAACES. Choreographed to explore physical and emotional boundaries, the duet traces an encounter between two dancers who slowly move toward a fragile connection rooted in memory. The performance coincides with the opening of "Inheritance of Place," a visual art exhibition by Isveydi Moreno and Luz Estrella Cruz that similarly examines belonging and geography. Placing live movement within the gallery setting creates an intimate dialogue between the dancers and the surrounding visual artwork, removing the traditional proscenium barrier for a close-range observation of Vergara's precise contemporary choreography.
