“Finding Your Authentic Voice”

Jen Shyu, a vocalist, composer, dancer and multi-instrumentalist who is a returning Hermitage Fellow, opens up the process behind her work at the Hermitage Englewood Art Center, performing traditional songs alongside original compositions. Her instruments range from piano and violin to the Taiwanese moon lute and the Korean gayageum, and her honors include a Guggenheim Fellowship, the Rome Prize, a USA Fellowship and a Doris Duke Artist Award.
