In recognition of military service, Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium opens its doors for Fins for Freedom, a dedicated day of free admission for veterans and their immediate families. The event, presented in partnership with the Dr. Samir M. Shafie Charitable Foundation, reserves the entire Science Education Aquarium facility exclusively for military families to explore the marine exhibits in a quieter, private setting. Active-duty personnel also receive complimentary access.
