How the Light Gets In

Four distinct individuals cross paths seeking healing and purpose in How the Light Gets In, staged at the Florida Studio Theatre’s Gompertz Theatre. The contemporary play tracks a Japanese architect, a wandering travel writer, a runaway teenager, and a highly skilled tattoo artist as their separate lives unexpectedly intertwine. Stripped of grand spectacle, the script relies on quiet, character-driven scenes to explore the mechanics of lost connections and sudden moments of clarity. The drama examines how emotional fractures can serve as the exact entry points for empathy and shared understanding.
