It’s a Blunderful Life: An Upscripted Holiday Movie

The resident improvisation troupe at Florida Studio Theatre abandons the script entirely for It’s a Blunderful Life: An Upscripted Holiday Movie. The ensemble constructs a completely original, feature-length holiday narrative on the spot, relying entirely on prompts and suggestions shouted from the audience. The performers must instantly invent characters, establish plotlines, and generate dialogue that mimics—and relentlessly mocks—the predictable tropes of made-for-TV Christmas movies. The show hinges on the cast's ability to navigate unexpected narrative failures and absurd situations, ensuring that every performance is a chaotic, one-time-only event.
