John Mulaney: Mister Whatever

John Mulaney continues his "Mister Whatever" tour with a second night of stand-up at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. The comedian leans into a more candid, self-reflective style for this set, discussing his highly publicized stint in rehab and the chaotic transition into fatherhood. While maintaining his signature rapid-fire wit and polished stage presence, the new material strips away some of his previous formality to address personal failures and recovery with dark, unguarded humor. The performance showcases an evolution in his comedic voice, blending his established knack for absurd observational tangents with a surprising level of biographical vulnerability.
