Let’s Talk Longboat

Town Manager Howard Tipton and Longboat Key department heads host "Let's Talk Longboat," a direct civic forum held at Town Hall. This recurring open-mic session invites island residents to sit down with municipal leaders and raise questions regarding ongoing public works, zoning updates, and environmental initiatives. Rather than following a strict legislative agenda, the afternoon gathering operates as a flexible, conversational town hall where locals can voice their immediate concerns. The format ensures transparency and fosters a highly accessible dialogue between the community and local government.
