Light Up Longboat

Organized by the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce and the town, this gathering marks the start of the holiday season with the illumination of the oak trees at Town Center Green. Residents and visitors convene for an evening of community festivities, which includes hot chocolate, cake, and a visit from Santa Claus. Various local organizations, such as the Longboat Key Garden Club and Save Our Seabirds, participate in the celebration. The outdoor event provides a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere under the newly strung lights of the central park.
