Oktoberfest

The Longboat Island Chapel transforms its coastal grounds for a lively Oktoberfest celebration. Returning for another autumn, the ecumenical community gathering highlights authentic German cuisine prepared by the church's own Chef David Stone. Attendees congregate in the outdoor garden to share traditional bratwurst, soft pretzels, and imported beer while listening to live music. The event operates as a welcoming, fellowship-driven festival that effectively marks the seasonal return of snowbirds to the barrier island, blending Bavarian traditions with casual Gulf Coast hospitality.
