SAILING: YACHT ROCK AND BEYOND

Florida Studio Theatre launches its winter cabaret season in the Court Cabaret with this original musical revue developed by Richard Hopkins, Rebecca Hopkins, and Catherine Randazzo. Arranged by resident pianist Jim Prosser, the production surveys the polished, soft-rock radio sound that crested between the late 1970s and mid-1980s. Vocalists Talitha McDougall Jones, J.D. Daw, Lorenzo Pugliese, and Gemma Pedersen harmonize through breezy FM staples popularized by Christopher Cross, Kenny Loggins, Rupert Holmes, and Olivia Newton-John, delivered alongside table food-and-beverage service in the downtown theater complex.
