Sights + Sounds at Waterside Place: Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble

Music director and conductor Joe Martinez leads the Lakewood Ranch Wind Ensemble in an outdoor holiday concert at the Waterside Place pavilion. The twenty-two-piece group, composed of local brass, woodwind, and percussion musicians, performs a program centered on seasonal standards and community celebration. The performance serves as the monthly installment of the Sights and Sounds series, which highlights regional visual and performing arts organizations. Set against the lakefront backdrop, the evening allows for casual lawn seating as the instrumentalists work through their repertoire of traditional winter arrangements and orchestral band favorites.
