SMH-Sarasota: Mobility Support Group of South West Florida

Education and peer support for people living with limited mobility, and for their caregivers, anchor the Mobility Support Group of South West Florida, a monthly meeting at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. It uses the Rehabilitation Classroom on the third floor of the Rehab Pavilion, reached from the Arlington Street side, with complimentary valet parking at the pavilion entrance just past the blue awning for Radiology. The group also acts as an advocate in three areas: adaptive fitness and sports, education and resources, and mentoring between peers. Anyone coping with a mobility limitation is welcome, as are family members and caregivers.
