SMH-Venice HealthConnection: Personal Fall Risk Assessment

A take-home result is the point of this session at Sarasota Memorial's Venice campus: each participant is assessed individually for fall risk and leaves with a copy of the findings plus recommendations for reducing it. It is a recurring monthly offering within HealthConnection, the hospital's program of talks and wellness events led by its own physicians and health professionals, held in a HealthConnection suite on the hospital's first floor. Seating is limited, and the hospital asks attendees to reserve in advance by phone or email through the Venice HealthConnection office. The session pairs the testing with education on lowering the odds of a fall.
