The Great Mr. Swindle’s Traveling Peculiarium

A distinctly adult approach to vaudeville and circus traditions unfolds beneath a climate-controlled boutique big top at the Sarasota Fairgrounds. Hosted by the charismatic rogue Mr. B.S. Swindler, The Great Mr. Swindle's Traveling Peculiarium delivers a ninety-minute barrage of acrobatic feats, illusion, and unapologetically eccentric comedy. The production cultivates a mischievous, slightly twisted atmosphere that eschews family-friendly clowning in favor of bawdy humor and vintage theatrical spectacle. Patrons arrive early to socialize in Dr. Elixir's Drink-Ory Garden, an adjoining tent serving whimsical cocktails and savory snacks that sets the tone for the irreverent performance to follow.
