The Nutcracker Suite by the Sarasota Cuban Ballet

Condensing the Tchaikovsky classic into an intimate, fast-paced showcase, the Sarasota Cuban Ballet School presents The Nutcracker Suite at its own Cattlemen Road facility. This abbreviated version focuses heavily on the second act’s divertissements, highlighting the variations of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the various international sweets. The studio setting allows the audience a closer look at the rigorous partnering and technical footwork executed by the academy's advanced students.
