Town Commission Regular Workshop

The Town of Longboat Key Commission gathers at Town Hall for an open work session aimed at dissecting upcoming legislative items before they reach a formal vote. Unlike a regular meeting, this workshop format allows elected officials to engage in extended, informal dialogue with the town manager and department heads regarding complex logistical issues, such as the barrier island’s stormwater management plans or proposed zoning changes. The session is open to the public, providing residents an opportunity to listen to the unscripted financial and administrative debates that shape the town’s long-term infrastructure planning.
