Verity

Based on Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel, the psychological erotic thriller Verity is currently screening in local theaters. Directed by Michael Showalter, the film stars Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer hired to complete a popular book series after its author, Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway), is paralyzed in a car accident. Upon arriving at the Crawford estate, Lowen discovers an unfinished autobiography that confesses to horrific crimes. She must decide whether to expose the manuscript to Verity's husband, Jeremy (Josh Hartnett), or keep the dark history concealed as she grows closer to him.
