Voices of Azara

This mixed-repertory program features original choreography developed entirely by the resident dancers of Azara Ballet. Staged at the Riverview High School Performing Arts Center, the performance moves away from traditional story ballets to explore abstract themes of personal identity, human connection, and emotional courage. By allowing the company's own artists to dictate the movement vocabulary, the evening provides a transparent look at the current creative impulses shaping the troupe. The contemporary ballet pieces showcase the physical versatility of the ensemble, prioritizing raw expression and collaborative storytelling over strict classical formalism.
