2026 Hermitage Artful Lobster

The Hermitage Artist Retreat hosts its signature outdoor clambake and lobster feast on the sands of its historic Manasota Key campus. Rather than a formal gala, this annual fundraiser operates as a casual, beachfront celebration of the creative process, directly sustaining the retreat's residency programs. The afternoon features live performances and presentations by current Hermitage fellows, giving attendees direct access to working playwrights, composers, and visual artists. It offers a rare opportunity to hear interdisciplinary creators discuss new work in the exact coastal environment where it was developed.
