’80s Ladies

The Pops Orchestra pays tribute to the female pop stars of the 1980s in a concert at the Riverview High School Performing Arts Center. Conducted by Robyn Bell, the musicians tackle symphonic arrangements of hits by artists like Madonna, Whitney Houston, and Cyndi Lauper. The performance bridges the gap between classical instrumentation and MTV-era synth-pop anthems.
