ArtSELF for Generations

The Sarasota Performing Arts Foundation partners with The Ringling to present an interactive, environmentally focused workshop for children and their caregivers. "ArtSELF for Generations" uses active storytelling and guided art-making to explore concepts of kindness, community, and ecological stewardship. Instructors lead families through hands-on creative projects that translate these abstract, nature-based themes into physical objects. The program encourages cross-generational collaboration, requiring adults and children to work together to complete the artistic tasks. The morning session provides a structured, highly engaging framework for introducing young participants to both visual expression and environmental responsibility.
