Backstage Sarasota

This three-and-a-half-hour trolley excursion provides an exclusive look at the inner workings of the city's performing arts infrastructure. Led by a theatrical guide, the Discover Sarasota Tours route focuses on the operational side of local venues. The itinerary includes a private walk through the Sarasota Opera House, where participants examine the company's extensive costume vault and learn about the historic building's architectural past. Rather than just passing by marquees, the experience grants physical access to the spaces where productions are built and rehearsed. The morning concludes with a family-style Mediterranean meal at Clasico Italian Chophouse, allowing guests to discuss the city's cultural history.
