Baltimore Orioles vs. Pittsburgh Pirates

Spring training action continues at Ed Smith Stadium as the Baltimore Orioles square off against the Pittsburgh Pirates in a Grapefruit League exhibition. This regional rivalry brings fans from across the Suncoast to Sarasota for an afternoon of early-season baseball. The game provides a relaxed setting to evaluate minor league prospects and established major leaguers testing out new mechanics. The classic ballpark atmosphere, complete with peanuts and sun-soaked grandstands, marks the steady rhythm of spring training on the Gulf Coast.
