South Florida Men’s Basketball vs. Stetson

The nickname gives the history away: Stetson is named for John B. Stetson, the hat manufacturer who originated the modern cowboy hat, and its teams have competed in the Atlantic Sun since 1985, the conference's longest active membership. The Hatters won twelve games last season after eight the year before, a long way from the 2024 conference tournament title that sent them to their first NCAA Tournament. Across the floor is Chris Mack, who has nine NCAA Tournament appearances behind him, including four Sweet 16s and an Elite Eight at Xavier, and is now in his first season at South Florida.
