Catfish Moon

Three older men reunite on the end of a broken fishing pier to untangle the resentments of their past in Catfish Moon. Staged by the Venice Theatre, Laddy Sartin’s play relies on the easy rhythms of Southern dialogue to explore the fractures in a lifelong friendship. The script avoids heavy melodrama, choosing instead to reveal the characters' heartbreaks and loyalties over fishing lines, cheap beer, and an attempt to recreate a legendary catch.
