Creative Practice : Foam Print Making

Art Center Sarasota hosts a hands-on foam printmaking workshop guided by the center's instructional team. During this Creative Practice session, participants learn to incise designs into foam plates, ink their blocks, and pull their own unique prints. Violinist Keven Aland and musician Jon McLaughlin provide live acoustic accompaniment, blending tactile visual art instruction with an ambient musical backdrop. The casual format encourages creative experimentation while introducing foundational printmaking concepts to those unfamiliar with the medium's distinct textures and layered possibilities.
