Don McLean

Folk-rock veteran Don McLean brings his extensive catalog of American songwriting to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Backed by a full band, the troubadour performs career-spanning acoustic ballads and early rock-inflected tracks, inevitably anchoring the night with the lyrical sprawl of "American Pie" and "Vincent." The concert highlights his distinct fingerpicking style and the poetic, often melancholic narratives that defined the early 1970s singer-songwriter movement.
