Don Soledad Trio presents “Art & Passion”

Flamenco guitarist Don Soledad brings the complex, percussive rhythms of southern Spain to Fogartyville Community Media and Arts Center. Joined by his trio, Soledad performs an instrumental program characterized by rapid-fire fingerpicking, intricate chord voicings, and sudden dynamic shifts. The music demands a high level of technical precision, capturing both the melancholy and the fiery intensity inherent in the flamenco tradition. The trio format allows the musicians to lock into tight rhythmic patterns, weaving melodic solos over driving, syncopated accompaniment in an intimate listening room well-suited for unamplified acoustic instruments.
