Get the Led Out

Bypassing the wigs and theatrical impersonations of standard tribute acts, Get the Led Out focuses entirely on the dense, multi-layered studio production of Led Zeppelin. Headlining the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the six-piece ensemble recreates the specific acoustic textures, guitar overdubs, and complex vocal harmonies that the original band rarely attempted to play live. The group tackles the sprawling arrangements of tracks like "Stairway to Heaven" and "Whole Lotta Love" with meticulous exactness, utilizing multiple guitarists to achieve the massive wall of sound Jimmy Page constructed in the recording booth. The performance functions as a high-decibel, forensic recreation of classic rock’s most influential catalog.
