Holiday Shopping

The colorful bungalows of Bradenton’s Village of the Arts open their doors for a seasonal retail event. Independent gallery owners, jewelers, bakers, and craftspeople stock their studios with original, handmade items intended for holiday gift-giving. Spanning several blocks of 1920s cottages, the district allows shoppers to bypass traditional malls and purchase directly from local creators. Patrons can wander through the residential streets to find functional pottery, coastal paintings, upcycled fashion, and healing arts products, while often having the chance to speak directly with the makers in their active workspaces.
