Jay Leno

The former host of The Tonight Show returns to the stand-up circuit with a headlining performance at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Avoiding the deeply personal confessions of modern alternative comedy, Jay Leno sticks to the pristine, setup-and-punchline format that defined his late-night television tenure. His set covers broad, accessible territory, finding the absurdity in everyday automotive culture, political headlines, and domestic life. The performance offers audiences a masterclass in traditional comedic timing, relying on the veteran broadcaster's affable stage presence and an unrelenting work ethic that keeps his extensive catalog of material polished and road-tested.
