The Sarasota Jazz Project Big Band takes over the Marcy and Michael Klein Plaza at Ringling College of Art and Design's Sarasota Art Museum for an installment of Jazz Thursday, the museum's concert series with the Jazz Club of Sarasota. Each monthly concert is programmed in a different style, from bebop and swing to straight-ahead and free jazz, and this one is the big-band edition. The galleries and shop stay open around the music, and the Bistro is open for food and drinks.
