Monthly Meeting – Efforts to Preserve Natural Resources

The Longboat Key Garden Club shifts its focus to local conservation with a presentation by Dawn Lansing, a development officer for the Osprey-based Big Waters Land Trust. Lansing will outline the nonprofit’s ongoing initiatives to protect Southwest Florida's land and water systems from modern overdevelopment. Hosted at the Windward Bay Clubhouse, the evening starts with a social period before moving into a detailed discussion on environmental stewardship and the specific challenges of safeguarding the region's natural resources.
