Museum of Art Tour

Navigating the extensive European and Asian collections of John and Mable Ringling, this volunteer-led Museum of Art Tour offers a concise introduction to the Sarasota institution. The 40-minute walking survey at The Ringling varies depending on the specific guide, pulling from the original 21 galleries of Old Master paintings, the Searing Wing's modern exhibitions, or the Chao Center for Asian Art. Rather than an exhaustive art history lecture, the guided walk is designed to orient guests to the layout of the sprawling waterfront museum and highlight a few key masterpieces before they explore the grounds on their own.
