Mystic Pizza (Touring)

Three young women who work at a small-town pizza restaurant on the Connecticut coast carry Mystic Pizza, a new jukebox musical adapted from the 1988 film that helped launch Julia Roberts's career. Kat, Daisy and Jojo navigate romance and family pressure to a score of 1980s and '90s pop that includes "Manic Monday," "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and "Take My Breath Away." Sandy Rustin wrote the book, Jennifer Werner directs and choreographs, and Carmel Dean did the arrangements and orchestrations. Big League Productions sends the national tour to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall for three performances.
