After the gates close, Selby Gardens opens its Downtown Sarasota campus for an exclusive viewing of The Orchid Show 2026: Christian Sampson, followed by a cocktail reception in the Event Center with live entertainment from Sarasota Opera. Sampson, who grew up in Bradenton and studied at Ringling College of Art and Design, builds playful installations from glass, acrylic and dichroic film, which throws shifting prismatic color across the conservatory, museum and grounds alongside living orchids.
