Rebecca Richardson Quartet – MNJC

The Jazz Club of Sarasota continues its Monday Night Jazz Cabaret series with an intimate performance by the Rebecca Richardson Quartet. Staged inside Florida Studio Theatre’s John C. Court Cabaret, the evening focuses on classic vocal jazz and Great American Songbook standards. Richardson brings a nuanced, highly interpretive vocal style to the room, backed by a tight, three-piece rhythm section. The quartet format allows for significant instrumental interplay and spontaneous soloing between verses. The relaxed, candlelit environment mimics the atmosphere of a traditional mid-century jazz club, keeping the focus squarely on the subtle dynamics and lyrical storytelling of the ensemble.
