Songs of the Season

Venice Performing Arts Center The Venice Chorale joins forces with a chamber ensemble from The Venice Symphony for a large-scale holiday performance at the Venice Performing Arts Center. The concert also features guest soprano Barbara Grizer and the organization's own Youth Choir. The varied program moves from the classical reverence of "O Holy Night" to the jazz-inflected playfulness of "Santa Baby." The evening culminates in the premiere of a localized composition titled "The 12 Days of Venice Christmas," showcasing the massed vocal power of the combined adult and youth choirs on the expansive modern stage.
