South Florida Men’s Basketball vs. Charleston Southern

Charleston Southern provides the first test of the Chris Mack era at South Florida, sharing a bill with the Bulls women. Mack arrives from the College of Charleston to a program that won both the American regular-season and tournament titles and reached its first NCAA Tournament in 14 years, with one returning player, Josh Omojafo, and 15 newcomers. The Buccaneers, a Big South side that went 15–17 last season, built their offense around the three-point line and took more of them than any team in the country going into conference play.
