South Florida Women’s Basketball vs. FIU

Jesyka Burks-Wiley spent three seasons as a South Florida assistant before taking over at FIU, and her Panthers opened last season in Tampa with an 81–56 loss, their first meeting with the Bulls since 2017–18, before winning 21 games, ten more than the year before. FIU's roster held more international players than any other team in Conference USA. South Florida leans on senior point guard Stefanie Ingram, who led the American in assists at 5.7 a game and had 13 in one night against Memphis.
