Discover The Ringling Legacy is a workshop for educators built around the museum's popular Ringling Legacy Tour. It begins with breakfast and an introduction to teaching resources for both the galleries and the classroom. The group then follows John Ringling and four of his brothers from their first circus to the cultural legacy they left, starting in the Historic Circus Galleries and finishing in the Museum of Art. The tour lasts 60 to 75 minutes, moves between indoors and outdoors, and keeps participants on their feet throughout. Each teacher earns three hours of continuing education credit, and children may come along. The Ringling is the State Art Museum of Florida and part of Florida State University.
