The Simon & Garfunkel Story (Touring)

The defining folk-rock harmonies of the 1960s are chronicled in The Simon & Garfunkel Story, a theatrical concert arriving at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall. Originating in London’s West End, the production tracks the duo's trajectory from their early days as Tom & Jerry through their massive commercial peak and eventual legendary reunion in Central Park. A live backing band and two specialized vocalists recreate the intricate acoustic arrangements of hits like "The Sound of Silence" and "Bridge Over Troubled Water." The performance utilizes projection mapping and archival footage to anchor the music within the turbulent political and cultural landscape of the era.
